Lillet is looking for six hospitality venues in the UK to support with £2,000 worth of taxi vouchers. Nominate your venue today!
Lillet is offering cheaper rides home for those working in hospitality this festive season. The Get Home With Lillet campaign will support hospitality professionals to safely get home from work during the busiest time of the year. The initiative will also offer an accredited training course, with tangible advice to tackle and prevent harassment in hospitality venues, created in partnership with safer nightlife campaigners Good Night Out.
Those working in the hospitality industry usually face unsociable working hours, with staff often finishing late at night or into the (very) early hours of the morning. Once the clock strikes midnight, travelling home on public transport becomes harder, leaving those remaining at work in a potentially vulnerable position. Unfortunately, 39% of passengers on Transport For London have experienced sexual harassment and this over-indexes amongst those identifying as women (55%), with those in the hospitality sector more likely to be impacted due to their irregular working hours. Within the workplace, hospitality professionals are disproportionately affected by harassment, with 83% of women looking for improved safety in hospitality venues and 71% of women in hospitality having considered quitting their jobs because they were unhappy with their workplace environment.
Lillet is partnering with Celebrate Her, a platform that promotes equality within hospitality through education, connection and community, on this campaign to help create safer working environments for hospitality professionals of all genders, with the aim for them to see hospitality as a viable and long-term career option.
To have a chance of benefitting from this support, all you need to do is complete the online questionnaire at lillet.com. The closing date is midnight on 3 December, so chop chop!
This is a really great and topical campaign by Lillet who is committed to improving hospitality working conditions for all hospitality workers in the UK and in particular, workers getting home safely after a shift. Often people have long journeys and are susceptible to dangerous situations late at night. Providing this opportunity to get home safely will be a game changer for many, and we are delighted to support this as much as possible.

Funkidory, Nightjar, The Savoy and Alma Bar are already on board to benefit from this initiative and Lillet will select six further venues to receive support this year.
Empowering women, particularly women in hospitality, is at the heart of Lillet's brand identity, having been designed for the female palette in 1872. With 150 years of heritage, the brand is known as a light and delicate aperitif found in iconic cocktails such as James Bond's Vesper Martini and the Corpse Reviver (in the form of Kina Lillet). Nowadays, Lillet is loved worldwide as a refreshing spritz made with tonic and the perfect cocktail ingredient.
