The Easy Jigger® is a measure designed for use when making cocktails, primarily in the home but also by professional bartenders. It has a unique design...
I have two of these jiggers so I can always have a clean one when I need to run one through the dishwasher. I try to rinse them immediately after using them and that seems to keep them looking clear, especially with running it through the dishwasher whenever I run a load. However, one of the jiggers has a white "film" like Joe seems to be describing. (I've been telling myself it's because I forgot to immediately rinse it one time, but I didn't notice it right away so don't have a specific "incident"/liquid to tie it to...) It's weird b/c it seems to scratch off some with my fingernail, but no matter how I try to clean it otherwise it doesn't seem to get clean... I've been wondering if there's some kind of cleanser that would work well, but haven't had the time to research what would be appropriate for this type of plastic.
