Damn good drink. I'm curious about the size of the sage leaves used, because they can get pretty large. The video doesn't reveal much. The ones I had were on the small side of medium, so I used 6-8 plus the stem. The sage subtly started to emerge in the aftertaste by the third sip. My point being, more is more. I did use freshly-squeezed white grapefruit juice, taking advantage of its seasonal availability in my area... I couldn't put this one down. Well done.

Hmm... Ruby red grapefruit might be preferable here as well, though the white stuff ain't not the right stuff.

Perfectly balance. A little tropical, but not sweet as some tiki-style cocktails. Sage add a little more herbal nature to the cocktail and the juices help soften everything together.

Hands down one of the best cocktails I've tried lately. Wonderfully balanced and elegant in every respect. Kudos to Nicholas Crouse for coming up with this recipe.

3/4 fresh pineapple juice freshly press do not provide information about mL. majority of us will not buy a pineapple to extract the juice.

If you buy 100% fresh pressed pineapple juice it's golden but if you get the reconstituted pulp version I use 1.5 shots of pineapple juice to keep the intensity of flavor and mouth feel.

I hope you enjoyed the drink though.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I've now fixed to show ml (or oz etc.)
