Bakewell Tart Sour
Exactly as the name suggests. Also works well served straight-up in a coupe

As someone who never had a Bakewell Tart, thanks. This is exactly what I imagine it would taste like, minus the lemon juice.

We have since transferred our affections to (Simon's own) Cherry Bakewell, one portion split between two Nick & Nora glasses. The UK supermarket Waitrose does a Morello Cherry and Almond Tart and we paired that with the Cherry Bakewell cocktail for a dinner party, with spectacular success. Pairing rich desserts with magnificent cocktails is a tough job, but someone has to do it :)
