ay diosito santo que rico esta esto! I love it the flavor of the Genever is totally different. In the last few weeks I am with the task of preparing all last word variations before I die... This was very good, the deep of flavor of the Genver gives texture and layers. It was very different that the one with just Gin, and in a slider much more into the tequila and the pisco, surprising with earthy tones.

This is now on my wish list.

The Last Word was my first love, and continues to be without a doubt my favourite cocktail.

I can't really taste a *huge* amount of the malt-y flavour of oude genever over gin, but it's subtly there. I can't say "oh this is definitely better than a regular LW" but it is still about as perfect as drinks get.

Delicious. Green Chartreuse is one of my favourite liqueurs. Mixes outstanding with the Luxardo and Genever. Nice hint of lime. Perfectly balance for before dinner.

I noticed this is almost identical to the Latest Word - except the splash of water in the Latest Word earns it an extra half a star in your ratings! Are they both Simon Difford originals?
