Made with Carpano Botanic Bitter, Pallini Limoncello, and Cocchi Storico. Phenomenal!

For a Nordic riff, I just made this but with Lingoncello from Lignell & Piispanen. It works very, very well! Call it a Negroni Finlandese, or something.

Surprisingly good and drier than you expect. A negroni for people with sweet tooth.

I made it with a Dry Limoncello by Manchester’s Mouse Kingdom which made it a nicely balanced drink of bitter/sweet and orange and lemon. I would imagine a traditional limoncello would make it definitely on the sweet side. A good alternative to a traditional Negroni.

A Negroni I will definitely be making again! I thought it was a good balance of sweet and bitter.

Yes, rather sweet, but keep drinking it and you see why.
Ours was Il Limoncello Árvero, Contratto Bitters (all natural), and Carpano Antica Formula. We chose Il Limoncello Árvero because it is produced very near where we traveled on a trip to Sorrento & Amalfi.
