Messed up with not enough simple syrup, so I tried putting my crystallised jar over some warm water to attempt to melt the sugar. Failed, so I just put a few scraps in and hoped for the best. Did not turn out to well, tasting more candy-like, with the sugar dominating all the other components (except the mint). Still pleasant, but I would love to return to this drink with a fresh batch of proper simple syrup.
