Revisiting (thanks to Andy’s comments) and really appreciated the delicacy of the fruit and herbal notes. Brought out all the different notes in the apricot (de kuyper). It is balanced, but just very slightly cloying on the finish - can see it pairing well with biting cheddar either appetiser or dessert, or perhaps with a summer pudding for Afters. I added a splash of vodka and it worked as a late night sipper with some fresh raspberries.

Unless you have a very sweet tooth go easy on the apricot. Otherwise, nice little crowd-pleaser.

Def better with a fresh bottle of vermouth. Quite nice but if you’re looking for something in this mode I’d prob go for a Joy Division instead.

I also went for a nice punchy gin, Cotswolds, which I think helped give it more kick.

I found the apricot overly dominant so bumped up the vermouth to 22.5ml, although admittedly it wasn’t the freshest bottle of vermouth. But i needed the extra dryness. Very nice and pushing 4.5 stars.
