The Abbey looks like a delicious way to mark the Norman Conquest...but I think I'll be drinking the Hastings 66 (https://www.diffordsguide.com/cocktails/recipe/6163/hastings-66) a riff on a Brazil 66, but one where the French spirits (rather than cachaça!) dominate the English gin!

Agreed. I've just made a Hastings 66 and commented on your page. Really tasty and very appropriate cocktail.
