Thanks for this! I like it, but more so when I serve it over a large cube. Undiluted, it’s a bit cloying for me.

I agree that serving this on ice is worth considering, otherwise make sure you give it a good long stir for enough dilution.

Try the Maloney No. 2. I think you’ll find it more to your liking

Reading your comment prompted me to give a good long stir as I am not keen on cloying drinks. I found it nicely balanced and not too cloying. As an experiment, I contrasted this after drinking one half with then adding a 2" ice sphere; maybe too much dilution after a long stir! Next time "normal" stir and try on rocks to see if dilution to cloyedness better.
