I’ve seen this named the ‘Distrito Federal’ In case anyone ever orders that. Also made with reposado, it can work.

Outstanding. The flavours of the anejo tequila works perfectly. Cherry syrup adds a hint of the cherry but without sweetness. I do find many Manhattans too sweet, but this was perfectly balanced. Bitters add a wonderful peppery and spicy taste. Would be great before or after dinner.
