This was perfectly awful because it was so damn quaffable! šŸ˜‰ I found it too sweet with my homemade 2:1 raspberry syrup and added another 1/4 oz of lime juice. So glad to have another addition to my list of ā€œfruity martinisā€!

Love that this is from the early years. They had only so many options. Loved this cocktail very tasty. Would make again and recommend to give it a try.

I make my raspberry syrup 2:1 sugar:juice (bottled), and using that, the drink came out a bright pink, unlike in the picture. Iā€™m curious as to why the pictured drink is so yellow looking.

The cocktail in the photo was made using Monin Raspberry Syrup. I've just remade it to check and colour as per photo.

My new raspberry syrup is that berry juice, pressed, 1:1 with cane sugar... had to dial back the specs 3:3:1:1 for it to gel.

Had this for an aperitif and it was great. Did not have the raspberry sugar syrup, so used a bit of Chambord. It was delightful. Flavourful and refreshing.
