This sits very nicely with a steak dinner. I scaled it up a bit (because that's easier to do then explaining why I definitely need a second...) and served over crushed ice in a DOF

Honi Honi — Larger Build
2 1⁄4 oz bourbon
3⁄4 oz curaçao or Cointreau
1 oz lime juice
3⁄4 oz orgeat
1⁄4 oz rich simple syrup
Shake hard with crushed ice or regular ice.
Serve:
over crushed ice for tiki energy
or on a big rock if you want it more refined and spirit-forward

My choices were Larceny small batch and curaçao. I think orgeat goes very well with that slight oxidized orange peel note. Also I bumped up the simple a skosh...

This made me feel pretty dang content. Great way to wrap up the weekend.
