Almost literally what its title indicates: JW Black but doubly so. More Smokey, sweet/dry and intense. Honeyed smokey bacon and peat. Also thicker mouthful. A good splash of water (more than usual) opened up stewed fruit, caramel, custard and vanilla characters. Might be good for a blood and sand.
Was looking forward to this after enjoying the Black and Gold Labels, but this is hugely disappointing. Thin. Underwhelming. Tastes like it's been watered down. Avoid.
