This is kind of amazing. I added just a touch of simple syrup to offset the bitterness of the Cynar and lemon peel, but will make again.

This is an astonishing drink. It shouldn't work at all, let alone be this balanced, and yet it is and does. Fully recommend trying this recipe exactly as written here.

This is superb. My first try is a bit higher ABV, made with Cynar 70 and cask strength rye. Wowza. I'm old already, and if I died this instant, I'd die happy.

An absolute gem for those with an adventurous palette. Dark and brooding, while simultaneously light, delicate, and bursting with layers of flavor.

Made with Cynar 70 and increased the 90° rye by 7.5ml. This one may be better as written with original Cynar but I did enjoy the boozier boost. Still pretty thick. Ice melt and cooler temp from some cubes did the trick as it got better and better. Excellent actually, harmonious yes.
