History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2009 by Maksym Pazuniak and Kirk Estopinal at Cure bar in New Orleans, Louisiana, and first published in their Rogue Cocktails book. Perhaps the cocktail with the longest name, its full name is "Growing Old and Dying Happy Is a Hope, Not an Inevitability," but that's five characters longer than our database can accommodate.

An absolute gem for those with an adventurous palette. Dark and brooding, while simultaneously light, delicate, and bursting with layers of flavor.

Made with Cynar 70 and increased the 90° rye by 7.5ml. This one may be better as written with original Cynar but I did enjoy the boozier boost. Still pretty thick. Ice melt and cooler temp from some cubes did the trick as it got better and better. Excellent actually, harmonious yes.
