As the name suggests this is a riff on the classic Cosmopolitan using kirsch eau-de-vie in place of vodka

I made this with an unsweetened cranberry cordial (25% ABV) instead of juice and some added rich simple. Love the deeper cranberry notes of the cordial and the added kick.

Rich and fruity, one of the best riffs on the Cosmo.

Liked this cocktail. Like all Cosmos did find it a bit sweet, but I could adjust. It was nice to find another use for the Kirsch. May try using my other Eau de Vies.

With my type of Kirschwasser I think about adding a bit more Cointreau. Also a thyme sprig as decoration could possibly add some nice herb aromas.
