Based on liqueurs rather than a spirit, this cocktail is a masterpiece of balance.

This is a really good drink. A wonderful balance of bitter, nutty, and sour. I found it first on Anders Erickson’s YouTube site by Mr. Thompson. I also made a version replacing the amaretto with walnut liqueur instead of amaretto that is also excellent.
