What is the purpose of churning the drink rather than just shaking it until you achieve the desired dilution? I know it's tradition but.

Absolutely fantastic cocktail! The elderflower shines through brightly and the slight bitterness from the lime twist is a must. Very crisp!

Very smooth drink but I felt like it was missing something so I added 5ml swedish punsch to it. Quite pleased with the result.
