Matcha Blond Negroni.............recipe please
Equal parts gin, blanc vermouth, Suze and half part matcha liqueur. Also good with another half part gin boost.
Ooh, I want some! I picked up a matcha liqueur in Tokyo’s restaurant supply district awhile back and love it, but it’s sweeter than necessary. Great in a Matcha Blond Negroni!
I’m game to try this, and clearly it won a prize, but it strikes me as too sweet at first glance. Interested to hear what others say who try it.
I got a bottle of this serendipitously from a friend’s family cleaning out a liquor cabinet. Absolutely wonderful addition to cocktails in small quantities. Killer in a Mai Tai!
I agree that the Fernet prevents too much sweetness but I went with 2/3 oz ea of the liqueurs. Not sure if this is something an ancient Greek king would drink but why not! I love it and am thinking of rye for next time!
Simplified version should be 30ml (1oz) instead of (10z), simple typo. I don’t have blue curaçao but I love blond Negroni riffs!
This was introduced to me in simple form (tequila and kahlua) by a Mexican friend in Japan in the 90’s! His family was a multi generational tequila producer. Toro Bravo for the Spanish name! Delicious!
Is that a typo on the lemon juice? “omit if using wet ice”
