Ingredients:
34 oz Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old)
34 oz Light gold rum (1-3 year old molasses column)
12 oz Bénédictine D.O.M. liqueur
12 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
14 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
13 oz Chilled water omit if using wet ice
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Nice, but forgettable. (at least with the most recent recipe - it seems it's had various balancings of citrus and benedictine. this is at 1/4oz and 1/2oz respectively).

Very nice--light, balanced, lemon forward but not over-powering. A good drink for those who may not like rum. Fantastic spring sipper.

Made revised recipe and it is very well balanced. Just the right of lemon. Also tried with putting a splash (about a barspoon) of Green Chartreuse to enhance the herbal.

Agreed! I've upped the Benedictine in the recipe above to improve balance.
