Lacking Strega, I substituted Galliano. The result was sweet, but the complexity of flavors made it very enjoyable. Nice for the season.

After an "early bird" dinner ( unusual for us), we enjoyed the cherryness of this digestif in front of the TV.
As a rum distiller I offer distillery tours, my guests get a choice of welcoming cocktails. One of which is rum negroni, it is by far the most popular, I do include coffee liqueur i my version.
After one sip, we added 5 ml of Kahlua. For us, it made in the drink delightful.
Since hubby is not a big whiskey guy, I was pleased to see a rum drink using Fee Bros new browned butter fat wash. Used Probitas and cut the Clement with some Planteray, still plenty funky. The first sip elicited a "wow", but then settled to a pleasing cocktail. We live in Rochester, NY, home of Fee Bros, so kudos to them!
Made this with Glenlivet Fusion Cask (rum and bourbon) single malt and it was terrific.
