For very aromatic gins (if we're talking herbal aromatic), I would try cocktails that also are very herb forward (like a Basil smash). If you're talking aromatic floral, then I would say citrus forward cocktails that might play well with a hint of floral aspect.
I used Yellow Chartreuse and a higher proof bourbon (53% Makers Select) and like someone else did 0.75 oz each, highly recommend.
This is really good! I added some spicy salt to the rim which I felt went well with the mezcal and pineapple.
