Tried 2 times, second one adding 1cl sugar syrup. Much better for me

I use pineapple juice unsweetened so I add 10 ml. Sugar syrup.

Don't have a sweet tooth, yet I found this lacking some sweetness. Made this the second time with 7.5ml of 2:1 Simple Syrup and it was better, however, missing some "sweetness complexity", so might try another sweetener next time.

Used a more subtle, floral gin for this and it came out nicely. Extremely easy to drink. I do think it's a bit pineapple-forward like another commenter mentions, but I feel like that's intended, and the balance on this one is good. All a matter of preference of course.

This drink looked beautiful -- the pineapple juice made a nice foamy head. But I thought the flavor balance was too much pineapple-forward with the lime and gin drowned out.

Would some egg white work in this too or best left alone?

Egg would work but I like the recipe as Jason intended - even though I was guilty of changing the name.

This is really good! I added some spicy salt to the rim which I felt went well with the mezcal and pineapple.

Fantastico! Made two of these. I knew I was going to love it, looking at the spec, but even the Mrs liked it. Recommended.
