Sampled this with Peychaud's and crafty dilution (Lemon bitters can't be had for love nor money over here - but at least we can buy Chartreuse!) Buonissimo!
Had this again with some craft cinnamon syrup I picked up at a farmer's market, and Pusser's Gunpowder Spiced. Bravo, Difford's! ?
Fantastic drink. I used supermarket cognac with Pere Magloire calvados. Everyone loved it.
Tried this with Plantation Original Dark and Discarded Banana Peel Rum. Very good. It's not too sweet. Bravo!
I agree. An amazing drink, but you do have to use decent port. Depends on premium ingredients.
This is too sweet for my taste. The original has pear eau-de-vie and less vermouth, which I think works better.

Fantastico! Made two of these. I knew I was going to love it, looking at the spec, but even the Mrs liked it. Recommended.
Wasn't sure about this one, because of the rating, but it's pretty good. I was using Tempus Fugit Crème de Banane, though, which is rather special.
Just made this. Wonderful! I thought the tiny amount of Strega was a typo at first but no, just a hint is perfect.
I think this is one where Kina Lillet would produce a more balanced drink. Perhaps worth trying with Cocchi Americano.
