Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 oz Banana rum
1 oz Caribbean blended rum aged 6-10 years
34 oz Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
2 drop Bob's Abbotts bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of float dehydrated banana chip or peg to rim.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Adapted from a recipe by Jason E. Clapham at the St. Edward's MCR at Oxford and originally based on Discarded Banana Peel Rum and Appleton Signature rum.

Lovely and yes, not too sweet! I had an odd 50ml bottle of Bacardi banana rum that was looking for an opportunity to be used up. Aged Barbados rum, Dolin Rouge Vermouth, Angostura, and Peychaud's Bitters (because I had no Abbotts).

Tried this with Plantation Original Dark and Discarded Banana Peel Rum. Very good. It's not too sweet. Bravo!
