Ingredients:
1 23 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
1 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
0.04 oz Liquore Strega
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Adapted from a recipe created by Jason E. Clapham at the St. Edward's MCR at Oxford, England. A topgallant is the sail immediately above the topsail(s) on a square-rigged boat. Originally made with Cocchi Storico Vermouth di Torino rosso vermouth.

Agree with eduard, the tiny measure of Strega is just right. My first taste of the famous liqueur.

Just made this. Wonderful! I thought the tiny amount of Strega was a typo at first but no, just a hint is perfect.
