Would it be outrageous to replace up to 5ml of sweet vermouth with amaretto liqueur?
My first try was with vanilla flavored vodka (the only one I had by that time) I loved the vanilla but it lacked the peppery hint of gin so I added a small squeezed zest of pink grapefruit. It is now one of my favorites.
What about trying bianco vermouth? I really liked it but don't want to be biased on my taste only.
