Careful with the absinthe…I did a light wash, poured any remaining out, and I feel it still overpowered my drink…maybe I needed a higher proof rum that the Barbados rum I used. Much easier drinking though that expected…might up the peated scotch next time!

Maybe try the absinthe in an atomizer and give the glass a small spritz. That might leave less in the glass that way.

I had one of these for the first time last night and wow! So good. Complex, a bit smoky with the Laphroaig.

This is one of my summer go-tos when relaxing in the sum. So good and refreshing
