Glass:

Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Vanilla flavoured vodka
13 oz Adriatico Amaretto Liqueur
112 oz Bols Blue Curaçao
34 oz Pistachio cream liqueur
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of scoop of pistachio gelato/ice cream.

How to make:

  1. POUR first 3 ingredients into the larger of your shaker tins.
  2. ADD ice and then pistachio cream liqueur (this helps prevent the creamy liqueur from splitting).
  3. SHAKE and strain back into shaker.
  4. DRY SHAKE (without ice) to emulsify.
  5. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with a scoop of pistachio gelato/ice cream placed in centre of cocktail.

The origins of this dessert cocktail are undocumented, but it is popular in the North End neighbourhood of Boston, Massachusetts, where numerous bars and restaurants serve it, and several claim to have created it.
