Sake, Orange bitters, Yuzu syrup
I agree that it's a bit too much citrus. I really want the allspice to be the hero of the drink, rather than an afterthought. Might try simply reducing the lime to 1/4 at first.
Man, am I bad at floating cream. The drink is not bad, but no matter how carefully I pour the single cream over the back of that spoon, I get cream throughout the drink.
When your in laws leave a bottle of mountain dew in the fridge, you may as well try it... Used whiskey x2, didn't use sugar syrup, and still a bit too sweet.
I'm realizing that if I force myself to drink more Campari drinks, I start to like more Campari drinks. Not sure if it's some kind of Stockholm Syndrome, but this drink is tasty.
Made this with Yellow Chartreuse and Lemon instead of Green and Lime... a piña amarilla if you will. Like it better than the piña colada.
Mint can put some people off cocktails, but it's really not overpowering here. Quite enjoyed it.
