What a surprise. At first notes of fruit and spice from the froth and first sips, layered on a sweet and boozy coffee.
Made with Renault VSOP. Coffee beans from Colombia.
Made with Zuidam amaretto and Renault vsop. The result was excellent. The almond and orange flavors both prominent, on a foundation of cognac. Plenty of cream to tilt it towards a dessert. I would like to try it with a scoop of grand marnier whipped cream, as suggested here.
The Cointreau stands out, but in a less sweet and refined form as it blends with the sharper taste of the vodka. Certainly packs a good punch and is still a pleasant drink. Made with Goral orange vodka and upped the orange juice a little.
