I used lime juice and Diffords falernum with a pinch of Cornish sea salt. Delicious, quite sour, definitely falls under the heading of aperitif cocktails for me.
Fully agree with Chelsea Noble that it’s a little on the sweet side and increasing the juice while reducing the syrup does make it more refreshing to my taste.
Tasty, blow your socks off, good substitute for pudding, cocktail.
