I've been using the name "Famous Last Words" for a last year or so for a drink consisting of equal parts; Islay Scotch, Yellow Chartreuse, Aperol, and lemon juice. I suppose I need to think of a new name now.
Islay Scotch? One of the really smoky ones?

I'm using Torres Brandy for this one, and it's one of the absolute favourite sippers.
Nice cocktail as is. Works well with other gins and with Strega as well.
Using a 2:1 muscovado syrup instead of white syrup doesn't hurt this cocktail. It goes well with the cherry.
I made 2/3 Bulleit and 1/3 Drambuie - otherwise according to the recipe.
