Diffords book 365 Days of Cocktails has this with (1.5 shots) 45ml each of tequila and GM, 15ml lime juice and no agave, and I have to say, I like it that way very much! Very refreshing for something so potent.

I make this with 2 shots of the gin, 3/4 shot each of apricot brandy and vermouth and 1/2 a shot of lime. No sugar syrup! This is pretty tart, but I love it.

First time round: Olmeca Altos Tequila, Discarded Sweet Vermouth, Luxardo Maraschino, Bitter Bastards’ Whisky Bitters, Funking Pro Sugar Syrup. Slightly too sweet, but definitely worth trying again without the sugar syrup.

In any bar with the 14 cocktails on the menu above, I think I would always be able to choose a drink that suits my mood. What a skillfully compiled list!
