Wow, you're right on the money. On top of that, it drinks so nicely neat.
Totally. Keep your Vecchio Amaro del Capo in the freezer too. The company recommends it and the temperature really elevates the taste whether neat or in a cocktail!
Swapped Montenegro for Vecchio Amaro Del Capo and wow! So much more depth, less sweet and complex. Highly recommend.
Yes, please share some cocktail recipes
This drink is lovely and herbaceous. The Benedictine really adds another layer and it’s great!
Looking forward to making this. Do you recommend the traditional Dom Benedictine or B&B? What difference would each make to the cocktail? Thanks.
Just 8 drops of lavender bitters, not 8 dashes.
To clarify, is the difference between a drop and a dash that a drop is mostly a whole droppers worth versus a dash as a dash?
Which chili liqueur do you recommend: verde or original?
A perfect cocktail. There’s nothing like the real deal… green chartreuse (no subs!).
This turned out great. Would likely be even better if I had a very smokey mezcal.
How do you think it would turn out if you swapped agave for Cointreau?
Subbed lime for yuzu juice and turned out great!
This turned out great! I swapped honey syrup for St Germaine
I have Doc Herson’s amaro not Lucano amaro. Anyone know if this would work well in this cocktail and be a good substitute? Thanks.
Swap honey syrup for Saint Germaine. Divine.
Thanks! The shop in the link is down. So can’t buy them here in the US until I go to England in the fall. Any more guidance on what bitters to mix along with lavender make margarita bitters, would be much appreciated.
What bitters, along with lavender, can I mix to get closest to margarita bitters? I can't buy margarita bitters in the USA.
