Added 1/4oz Solerno Blood Orange to brighten it up. Delish

Built this one as listed with Montelobos Espadin & Montenegro, garnished with an expressed orange peel. I added a couple of drops of saline 4:1 and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters. My goodness what a surprisingly good cocktail that I will be enjoying again and again. Just lovely.

Del Maguey Vida Puebla and Amaro dell'Etna was a very tasty combo. I enjoyed the Mezcaletti, so I'm not suprised I'm all about this type of concoction. I almost bought a bottle of Montenegro tonight, but opted for the dell'Etna, which I've never had... I made a small serving of this and now I want another. Oh boy...

Very lush! If you don’t have Mezcal, it also works great with a medley of Scottish whisky’s including a dash of a smoky Islay.

Tried this using Amaro di Angostura (with Ojo de Dios mezcal). An enjoyable smoky, Manhattan-like drink for us.

Had a shot both with ice (as per the instructions) and neat, using Vecchio Amaro del Campo and Banhez mezcal, and it was amazing. Strangely enough, I think I may prefer it neat.

I had some 100 Conejos mezcal I hadn't been drinking (it's a bit vile) and decided to give it a roll with some Montenegro and I think I've found a use for it. With some orange bitters and saline I find it a good "last cocktail of the night" and quite pleasant.

Swapped Montenegro for Vecchio Amaro Del Capo and wow! So much more depth, less sweet and complex. Highly recommend.

Wow, you're right on the money. On top of that, it drinks so nicely neat.

Ordered this last weekend at the bar in a $$$$ restaurant in a very swanky Las Vegas casino, which shall remain nameless (although it's right across Flamingo Road from Caesar's Palace). Bartender had never heard of it so I explained the recipe and he made a great drink for me with Del Maguey Puebla Mezcal. My wife ordered a White Negroni; he'd never heard of that, either (nor of Salers, Suze, or Luxardo Bitter Bianco), so she had a Martini instead.

I tried this today after reading about it in Punch. It works for me with a dash of chocolate bitters & 2 drops of saline solution
