Appearance:
Clear, mid golden amber.
Aroma:
Hot sawn wood and butterscotch maltyness with fruit trifle, vanilla crème caramel, cocoa powder and faint tar. More fruity aromas of apple and pear are released with water.
Taste:
Cocoa powder, fudge and dry peaty smokiness with lightly salted dried fruit and fresh apple and pear.
Aftertaste:
Dry nutty notes emerge towards the end of the palate and on the finish with long lingering salty malty chocolate, fudge and lemon zest.
