Seasonally brewed March until July, Brooklyn’s Summer Ale is apparently a twist on the traditional ‘Light Dinner Ales’ made in England until the 1940’s. It is made using English two-row barley malt and the hops employed are German Perle and American Cascade, Fuggle and Amarillo.

Faint hill haze with some tiny particles in suspension. Bright coppery amber with a thin off-white head which quickly fades to a mere ring of foam.

Corn-like grain and packaged apple juice with faint salty butter.

Hay and light biscuity malt with a faint salty vegetal note.

Aftertaste:

Hay and nubuck leather with mild grassy hops.
