Kona’s Londboard Island is a pale lager which pays tribute to the tradition of Londboard surfing in the shadow of Diamond head at Waikiki beach. It is aged for 5 weeks at low temperatures and made using Pale Premium 2-Row and wheat malts as well Mt. Hood, Hallertau and Czech Saaz hops.

Aparência:

(brewed 16-Apr12) Clear, bright golden yellow with white head.

Aroma:

Pear drops, doughy white bread and aromatic hops.

Sabor:

Clean, light bodied but flavoursome lager with bready malts and light hop character.

Aftertaste:

Lingering baguette crust – slightly soggy.
