St Peter’s Mild is blended with bitter chocolate malt to counteract the sweetness. Sticking to the traditional St Peter’s brewing methods, their Mild beer has a lower level of carbonation, the beer is then brewery conditioned and cold filtered.

Appearance:

sample best before 18-Jan-13) Opaque very dark mahogany-ebony with thin beige head and little lacing.

Aroma:

Black liquorice and just laid tarmac with nutty aromas.

Taste:

Coal tar, chicory stewed coffee and well grilled nuts.

Aftertaste:

Grilled to the point of being charred nuts and lingering espresso-like bitterness.
