Appearance:
Clear, vermilion red.
Aroma:
Pungent cooked and raw rhubarb.
Taste:
Cooked rhubarb with citrus acidity adding a tartness.
Aftertaste:
Lingering cooked rhubarb.
Overall:
This syrup does indeed convey the tart flavour of stewed rhubarb.
