Like the other Clément rums, this is a rhum agricole which is slowly hydrated (over eight months). It is further distinguished due to being distilled from the juice of one particular variety of sugar cane, Canne Bleue, so named due to the purple blue colour of its shoots.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Grassy with white pepper spice. Very faint raspberry jam, lavender and potpourri floral fragrances.

Taste:

Powerful and dry. Pronounced grassy flavours with white and black pepper spirituous spice.

Aftertaste:

Long white pepper spiced finish with lingering grassiness.

Overall:

Powerful and wonderfully clean, this white agricole rum has a grassy aroma and flavour with very faint floral notes.
