Serve in a Double old-fashioned
| 60 ml | Cognac (brandy) |
| 7.5 ml | Lemon juice (freshly squeezed) |
| 300 ml | Superfine/Caster/Baker's special sugar (white) |
| 1 dash (4 drops) | Vanilla extract/essence |
Sherbety lemon. Well-balanced and refreshing, but not really a Martini.
