How to make:

-Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin,
-Fill shaker with ice and shake.
-Strain, dry shake then double strain into coup

1/2 fl oz Oolong tea syrup
1/2 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
2 barspoon Orange marmalade
1/2 fl oz Lustau Amontillado Los Arcos Sherry
1 fl oz Pineapple juice (freshly extracted/pressed/squeezed)
1 fl oz Rutte Old Simon Genever
3/4 fl oz Mandarine Napoleon liqueur

Origin:

There is no word in the english language for the euphoria experienced as you begin to fall in love.
The Norwegian word for this feeling is Forelska

I wanted to utilize Mandarine Napoleon craft a cocktail that elicits that same euphoria. The notes from the liqueur meld and play lovely with the nuttiness of the amontillado sherry. The fruity flavors of mandarin orange is balanced with pineapple as the malt of the genever ties everything together.

Alcohol content:

  • 1.3 standard drinks
  • 14.11% alc./vol. (28.22° proof)
  • 18 grams of pure alcohol
