Mango Mint Julep

Ingredients:
12 fresh Mint leaves
1 23 oz Bourbon whiskey
34 oz Chinola Mango Liqueur
14 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Collins glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of mango wedge.
  3. Lightly MUDDLE mint in base of shaker (just to bruise).
  4. Add other ingredients and SHAKE with ice.
  5. FINE STRAIN into glass (or julep cup) filled with crushed ice.
  6. Garnish with mango wedge.

Review:

A classic Mint Julep is a springtime cocktail associated with the Kentucky Derby in May. However, the addition of tropical mango notes propels this cocktail into summer.
