Lemon zest and a blackberry.
To make this drink you need to mix two spoons of Blackberry jam and 20 ml of Cocchi Vermouth in a mixing glass to get a psuedi-cordial. Cool the Old-fashioned glass with ice cubes and start adding the sugar syrup, freshly juiced lemon and Hayman's Old Tom Gin into a cobbler shaker. Shake the ingredients for 20-25 seconds and strain the excess water from the glass. Pour the ingredients in the glass using a thin mail strainer and cover the top of the glass and ice cubes with crushed ice. Lastly pour the cordial over the crushed ice and let it drip into the Gin below.
