Garnish:

Garnish: Take a strip of lime zest (approx. 5cm) and hold it over the drink. Express the oils by firmly twisting the zest, releasing the aroma over the surface. Place the zest gently on the rim or surface. Lightly dust the surface of the drink with a small pinch of Quatre Épices.

How to make:

This cocktail is prepared using the Shaking method and served Straight Up (without ice).

Add all five liquid ingredients (Rum, Cherry Heering, Ziegler Flora, Falernum, and fresh Lime Juice) into a cocktail shaker.

Fill the shaker fully with good quality ice.

Shake vigorously for approximately 12–15 seconds until the exterior of the shaker is thoroughly frosted.

Serve and Garnish
Double Strain the cocktail into the chilled Coupe glass using both a hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer.

2/3 fl oz Heering Cherry Liqueur
1/2 fl oz Ziegler Zeitgeist Flora
1 1/3 fl oz Ron Zacapa 23 Sistema Solera Gran Reserva Rum
1/3 fl oz Falernum syrup
5/6 fl oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
