Review and Tasting

Sampled on 23/02/2012

Appearance:

Opaque, jet black with large tan head which fades to leave lasting layer of foam and light lacing.

Aroma:

Charred toast, smoky bacon, barbeque charcoal and liquorice nose.

Taste:

Bitter chocolate, stewed espresso coffee, burnt toast charcoal and liquorice with faint smokiness.

Aftertaste:

Nutty coffee bitter finish. Perhaps best reserved for hard-core cognoscente.
