Distilled in 1998 at Auchentoshan and aged 15 years. This single cask was bottled in 2013 yielding 294 bottles (released in April 2013). Candied Fruit is part of a range of single cask malts from Wemyss (prounced 'weems') with names also inspired by each whisky's flavour.

Clear, pale golden.
Dried and candied fruit with subtle toasted coconut and floral honeysuckle.
Even at full strength this is a wonderfull light and fruity (apple and pear) malt but add a splash of water and wonderfully nutty, toasted coconut notes emerge.
Dry, lightly spiced cedar wood notes emerge in the delicate fruity finish.
